Chad Stump, Band Manager

"?Esdilagh is the 'sleeping giant' of the Tsilhqot'in. We are one of the smallest nations but the location and vicinity are perfect for our culture to raise our children and be at the forefront of our leaderships visions. I am happy to work for our community and will continue to give 110 percent for our nation. Thank you very much for the opportunity to be part of ?Esdilagh and to make a difference for our future generations."

My name is Chad Stump I've been an ?Esdilagh First Nation member for better part of 20 years. I transferred into the First Nation from another neighbouring Tsilhqot'in Community since then I've lived in ?Esdilagh all of my life while raising three young strong boys in this community. My passion is to see this community flourish and prosper from many projects that are in the works and planned for our people while acknowledging the Elders and Youth that are a very big part of the heritage and growth of our community.

Kori-Jo Stump, Chiefs Assistant

"Not only do I do my job for the Chief but I work just as hard for my community and band office helping them with whatever help is needed."

Kori-Jo is a band member of the ?Esdilagh First Nation for 22 years and is Tsilhqot'in/Secwepmec. Kori-Jo's mother is from ?Esdilagh First Nation and her father is from T'exelc Reserve. She grew up in ?Esdilagh most of her life, in fact ?Esdilagh was the first place she learnt and experienced what working in an office would be like and ever since has taken up Office Assistant roles in 4 different First Nation organizations (?Esdilagh First Nation, Ki-Low-Na Friendship Society, Carrier-Chilcotin Tribal Council and the Tshilqot'in National Government).

Some achievements include accomplishing a Creative Facilitation Certificate, an Effective Proposal Writing Certificate and through the support of ?Esdilagh she achieved a diploma for Make-Up Artistry and many other course completions.

In January 2017 Kori-Jo began working together with the Chief of ?Esdilagh 'Roy Stump' as the Chiefs Assistant by the Tsilhqot'in National Government .

It is my duty to manage and coordinate the Chiefs calendar and help with the Chiefs workload. I make travel arrangements for the Chief as well as ensure expenses are controlled to the best of my ability. I also manage documents such as filing, coordinating, and distributing all incoming documents addressed to the Chief while representing the Chief and Council in a professional/courteous and confidential manner and I have the ability to manage multiple and conflicting priorities within a busy work environment. I accurately type emails, correspondence and administrative documents according to established guidelines. I classify, scan, sort, file and retrieve correspondence, records and other documents as requested.
